So I am still here days past 21 of May 2011, the magical day according to many Christians. The world is still here, nothing has happened and I am still here. So there is an important lessons in this, it is not the world that has ended, but the Christian believe system which has pushed its own 'end' button. Along with it, the bible is now the new National Enquirer.
Given the trustworthiness and reliability many Christians have in their Bible, 21-May 2011 is a very disappointing day, moreover, this day has shattered the faith and trust they had in the bible. The bible is no more the most trustworthy book, it has lies.
So May 21 2011 is the day that ended the dominion of the bible, this day effectively brought an end to the bible. the bible is no more. Going forward how can we ever trust the bible again? A serious led down by the bible, I was hoping on May 21 2011 that bible would show its power of God's holy words. But nothing of that sort happened, leading me to totally disregard the bible.
The world has not ended, but the bible has ended itself. It has lied, big time.
This is a really ignorant post, how can you possibly weigh the word of the bible to the beliefs of one mans opinions. Just because he's a christian and he says that he has uncovered secrets of the bible leading to the rapture starting on may 21st to the end of the world beginning on December 21st, doesn't mean that its true, and it definitely doesn't mean that the bible is a lie. This is just 1 man who has made the wrong guesses. This is nothing new.

ReplyDelete1) The rapture did really occur. There were earthquakes and tremors somewhere and I'm sure there are people missing and unaccounted for somewhere.
2) We just need to recalculate the date a bit more, just keep sending money so we can spread the word some more.
3) It was a test of faith. Didn't send the money so more signs could be put up? You failed the test.
4) You weren't supposed to take the rapture literally. It was a "spiritual" rapture. With 200 million elect "spiritually" lifted and the rest "spiritually" stuck here for the end.
Don't worry, the end is still coming on Oct 21, 2011. So keep sending your checks in or you'll fail the makeup exam.

ReplyDeleteIt is not the Bible that lied, but Harold Camping. The Bible warns us of false prophets and also tells us that no man knows the hour, but only God knows. Harold Camping has also done this twice, so please beware of him. The Bible has never lied, but is truth.
ReplyDeleteI believe in the promises of jesus. He never lied. And He is still living. Ask Him if the scriptures are both sacred and true. And if you don't trust Him ask his Father, he bears witness to His only Son. Both will answer you and the Holy Spirit will enlighten you to further Truth. If you let Him.
